To the friends and partners of Indie Square,

When we opened our doors two years ago, this community was a vision based on a simple premise: by providing affordable office and gathering spaces to Utah's changemakers, we could help grassroots organizations achieve their missions more effectively. As we reflect on our second year, that vision has matured into a thriving ecosystem that collectively uplifts thousands of Utahns each year.

The impact of this growth is visible the moment you walk through our doors. This year, we significantly increased our capacity to host the meetings, events, and "collisions" that spark innovation. Our space has moved beyond a simple co-location into a hub of deep collaboration, pushing the boundaries of creativity to tackle some of Utah's most complex and critical challenges.

This year marks a pivotal milestone as we officially transition into a nonprofit organization ourselves. This change reflects our long-term commitment to this community and allows us to scale the "Indie Square Model" further than ever before.

We remain dedicated to supporting small-to-medium organizations in unique ways. A major highlight of 2025 was our Indie Pitch grants event, where we awarded our first round of innovation grants to organizations driving change from the ground up. Additionally, our partnership with Liminal Partner has underscored the vital need for leadership development and administrative support, ensuring our community leaders have the resources necessary for sustainable growth.

As we look beyond 2026, our eyes are on the horizon. We are thrilled to announce our second location in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We’re calling it Indie Square: Twin Cities. We look forward to taking the lessons we've learned in Utah to a new community.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you are a member or a partner, you are the reason Indie Square is more than just a building - it is a ripple effect of positive change that continues to grow.
