Indie Pitch is a new philanthropic-giving event that highlights out-of-the-box solutions. At the event, eight organizations will pitch new or expanded programs to a live audience of dedicated community members.
A twist on typical grant processes, funding decisions are delegated to a ranked-choice community vote, conducted in real time at the event.
PHILANTHROPIC GIVING SHOULD BE EXCITING
Can you pitch a new program in just seven minutes?
Indie Pitch is Shark Tank meets grantmaking. The event will introduce an audience of community members to eight organizations and their missions. Then, the audience will be the final say on which proposals receive funding - not a board or foundation.
What are we looking for?
We are looking to fund innovative projects that effectively address a clearly defined community problem. The best proposals will demonstrate a sustainable and scalable model, utilize funds strategically to achieve their mission, and present measurable, significant outcomes.
